Belleville police responded to 217 calls for service over a 72-hour period from 5 a.m. on August 28, 2022 to 5 a.m. on August 29, 2022.
Break and enter
On August 28, 2022, police responded to a Mitchell Road address regarding a break and enter. Police were advised by the victim that sometime between 9 p.m. on Saturday August 27 and 4 p.m. on Sunday August 28 the suspect(s) had broken into his garage stealing tools including a generator and a welder. The suspect(s) also stole a 5 x10 utility trailer which was not plated as well as a motorcycle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service.
Stolen Vehicle
On August 28, 2022, at 4:25 p.m., police took a call regarding a stolen vehicle from a Cannifton Road business. The vehicle is a black Ford F250 licence plate AB35442. Anyone with information, or anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call the Belleville Police Service.
UPDATE: Belleville Police say the above vehicle has been recovered however they are looking for another truck reported stolen overnight on August 29. The truck is a 2020 black Ford SRW licence plate BC27406. Anyone who has information or has seen the truck is asked to call Belleville Police Service.
