Mischief
On August 24, 2022 at 11:21 a.m., Belleville police attended an address on Dundas Street East in regards to a mischief. The victim reported that a male pushing a shopping cart kicked the mirror off his car. The victim followed the male until police arrived on the scene. As a result, 26-year-old Belleville resident Caleb Wilson was arrested and charged with mischief and later released with a court date of October 6, 2022.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On August 25, 2022 at 2:10 a.m., Belleville police received a call regarding a hit and run on North Front Street. A black SUV was northbound on North Front Street and went off the road striking a vehicle parked in the lot of 365 North Front Street. The suspect vehicle then left the scene with extensive damage to the front end. Anyone with information is asked to contact Belleville police.
