The number of active high-risk cases of COVID-19 in Hastings Prince Edward has gone up while the number of people in hospital has gone down.
In its weekly update on Tuesday, Hasting Prince Edward Public Health reported 191 active high-risk cases. That’s up from 146 last week.
Nine people are now in hospital. No one is in the Intensive Care Unit. Last week 20 people were being treated in hospital with 1 person in the ICU.
COVID-19 deaths remained at 65.
Outbreaks in high-risk settings saw a slight increase from 11 to 12.
More than 32,000 residents have received a fourth dose booster.
