Tyler Rickey says he filed his papers on Wednesday to run for councillor of Ward 3 – Murray.
In a release, Rickey says his background is in business and law and owns and operates Pro Choice Asphalt Inc.
Rickey says he lives in the community with his wife and three kids.
He says while there are issues to tackle such as affordable housing, infrastructure, and the hospital, it’s important to keep Quinte West strong and growing by continuing to attract new businesses that will bring new jobs.
Rickey says council is ready for some new faces and fresh perspectives and that he wants to be that fresh face that brings a fresh perspective.
