The Wounded Warriors’ Ride for Mental Health event is taking place this Saturday.
Riders from across Canada take part to help raise funds for mental health supports for veterans, first responders, and their families.
Cyclists register for free and choose their own path to cycle to help raise funds.
Ride Director Steve Topham talks about how fundraising is going so far.
Money raised goes towards a slate of programs supported by Wounded Warriors.
Topham describes one of the programs that helps kids.
Last year, 400 riders from across Canada took part in the event.
Topham highlighted a cycling group in the Quinte region that is taking part.
Those interested in taking part of the event can register online at the Wounded Warrior’s website.
