A driver in Quinte West was found with his car upside down in a ditch on Golf Course Road.
The crash was discovered at 9 p.m. Wednesday when a passing motorist found a tree had fallen onto the road.
On inspection, the overturned car was found in the ditch with the tree on top of it.
OPP, fire, and ambulance responded to the scene. The driver was extracted from the wreck using the jaws of life and taken to Belleville General Hospital.
An investigation is ongoing.
