With this fall’s municipal elections getting closer, the City of Quinte West has announced it’s hiring temporary, paid workers.
Election officials will assist with voter help centres in Quinte West between October 11 and 24.
Eligible applicants must be 16 years of age or older, a Canadian citizen reside in Ontario and should be personable and detail-oriented with strong literacy, math and analytical skills.
Election workers must participate in mandatory training and are required to work from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on advance voting days, Oct. 11, 12, 15, 18 and 22, and on election day, Oct. 24.
