The City of Belleville has released its month-end building services report.
One notable permit is an addition/storage building for 659 College St. E. The value of the permit is $27 million.
The building area is approximately 384,347 square feet.
In total, the estimated value of all 91 permits approved in July is $36,795,135. This includes the addition/storage building at 659 College St. E.
According to the City of Belleville, the estimated value and the building permit fees have already exceeded last year’s total number.
As of July 2022, the building permit fees received are $1,454,041.23 with the estimated value at $138,130,224.26.
That is more than the $1,363,298.41 in building permit fees and $126,654,604.71 in estimated value at the end of 2021.
Of the 507 permits approved so far this year, 402 are for residential units.
