The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has made a first quarter payment to the City of Belleville for 2022.
This is for the city hosting Shorelines Casino Belleville
OLG paid out $873,706 for the first quarter spanning from April 1 to June 30.
According to OLG, the “payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.”
Since January 2017, when the casino opened, the city has received $12,956,000 from OLG.
