Northumberland OPP have identified the victim in a fatal collision on the 401 on Thursday.
Police responded to a collision between an SUV and a tractor trailer on the westbound 401 at Vernonville Rd in Alnwick Haldimand at 3:09 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
The driver of the SUV died in the collision.
She has been identified as 61-year-old Laureen Mitchell of Campbellford.
Highway 401 was closed for several hours on Thursday as part of the investigation.
