Hydro One and public works crews are still out working in the area. Ekblad Road is closed to non-local traffic at Potter Settlement Road and Bridgewater Road due to unnecessary traffic slowing restoration efforts. Everyone is asked to avoid the affected areas. Â Information about power restoration can be found on the Hydro One Storm Centre app at hydroone.com
The current fire status is high, and as a result of the tornado there is a significantly increased risk of wildfires. Please be extremely careful if you are doing any burning and check the municipal website daily to see if a burn ban has been put in place.
