Northumberland County continues to be a vibrant, thriving community.
The county released its 2021 Annual Financial Report Wednesday detailing financial highlights and the advancement of key priorities outlined in its strategic plan.
The county’s $188.4 million budget in 2021 included $75.3 million towards capital investments, $106.3 million towards core service delivery and $6.8 million for reserves towards the future financing of identified strategic initiatives and infrastructure needs.
CAO Jennifer Moore calls the report an important tool for ensuring accountability and transparency in how the county is using tax dollars and acquired funding.
