Multiple celebrations are being held across Prince Edward County on Canada Day.
Events on Friday in Wellington include a bicycle decorating contest at the ball diamonds at 10 a.m. and the Canada Day Parade along Main Street at 10:30.
In Picton, there’s an afternoon of family-friendly activities at the Fairgrounds from noon to 4 p.m. including inflatable amusements, live music and the free Firefighters Association BBQ.
Free shuttle buses for the Picton event are available from Wellington and Bloomfield.
Events start at Roblin Lake Park at 2 p.m. and end with fireworks at 10 p.m.
All events are free.
