Quinte West is preparing its first major Canada Day celebration since 2019 to take place in Centennial Park on July 1.
Festivities are set to begin with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. and a car show at 9 a.m. The opening ceremony is scheduled for noon, with more events to follow, including vendors, a petting zoo, live music, medieval knight fighting shows, falconry shows, and a fireworks display.
Couch Crescent will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event.
