Five members, both sworn officers and civilians, of the Belleville Police Service have been recognized by the Ontario Women in Law Enforcement organization which held an awards gala recently in Mississauga.
Receiving 25 year service awards were Inspector Sheri Meeks, Constable Monique Waite, Detective-Constable Ann-Earle Dempsey, Joanne Zimmerman and Laura Fernandes.
