The federal government is due out with plans to upgrade the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), North America’s aging defensive system.
The announcement will be made at 8 Wing Trenton late Monday morning.
There are warnings from U.S. and Canadian military officials about the state of NORAD, particularly in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Ottawa has been working on what it calls a robust package.
