If you’re out fishing on the Bay of Quinte this weekend don’t be surprised if a boat comes alongside carrying people asking questions.
According to a tweet by the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte the Lake Ontario Management Unit will be out doing its annual Creel Survey Program on the bay.
Management Unit staff will be asking people to answer survey questions aimed to better understand the fish population in the bay.
Participation in the survey is voluntary.
