A Loyalist College student has taken home a gold medal from the Skills Canada National Competition held in Vancouver late last month.
Spencer Chandu-Lall, a manufacturing engineering technician student, topped the Mechanical Engineering CAD category. He is now invited to join Team Canada at the World International Skills Competition, a date for which has not yet been set.
Over 300 students competed in various disciplines such as information technology, construction, and transportation.
