Mischief
On June 6, 2022 at 3:03 p.m., Belleville police attended an address on Plaza Court regarding a mischief. A male had jumped on a car and broken the windshield. After investigating the incident on June 13 at 9:11 p.m., police arrested 35-year-old Belleville male Matthew Reid for mischief and criminal harassment. Reid was released with a court date for July 14, 2022.
Arrest on Warrants
On June 15, 2022, at 1:08 a.m., Belleville police observed a male known to be wanted. As a result, 40-year-old Belleville resident Joel Mathlin was arrested on warrants for failing to attend court and forcible confinement. Mathlin was released on an undertaking with a July 14, 2022 court date.
Domestic Assault
On June 14, 2022, Belleville police responded to a domestic dispute on Cascade Boulevard. Upon arrival, police spoke to the victim, who indicated that she had been assaulted by her partner. As a result, Belleville police arrested a 35-year-old Belleville male on the scene and charged him with one count of assault. He was later released with a court date for July 18, 2022. There were no injuries reported. The male’s name is not being reported to protect the victim’s identity.
