Active COVID-19 cases have fallen to below 40 however Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting one new death caused by the virus.
There have now been 62 local deaths since the start of the pandemic.
On its Tuesday dashboard, HPE Public Health reported 30 new high-risk cases and 39 active cases, down from Thursday’s 53 active.
Two people are in hospital but no one is in the ICU.
There are three active outbreaks in high-risk settings.
More than 147,000 people have received one dose of a COVID vaccine (89% of eligible HPE residents aged five and up) with 137,800 (84%) receiving two doses.
Third dose boosters have been delivered to just over 91,000 people and almost 21,400 fourth doses have been given.
Public Health says from now on it will only update its COVID dashboard once a week, on Tuesdays.
