Three people have been charged in connection with a home invastion last month in Bancroft.
Bancroft OPP report that on May 18, three people forcibly entered a residence on Gaebel Road, assaulted an adult with a weapon and then then fled on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigation revealed that the accused persons were not known to the victims.
The accused, 29-year-old Justin Sleeper, 39-year-old Cory Fallis, both from Bancroft and 35-year-old Jimmy Dempsey of Carlow-Mayo Township each face the following charges:
Aggravated assault
Robbery with violence
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
Assault
Disguise with intent
Break and enter
All three were held in custody for a bail hearing in Belleville on Thursday.
