For the second time in less than a week, the Trenton Golden Hawks have announced a trade.
General Manager and Coach Jerome Dupont has acquired Luciano Supino from the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners.
Supino is a graduate of the Vaughan Kings AAA program. The 17-year-old produced well in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League last season, notching 10 goals and 23 assists in 36 games.
“He is a young, skilled player,” explained Dupont. “Supino was in our camp last summer and he worked his tail off. The gritty speedster is only going to get better with time. I was impressed with what he was able to do as a 16-year-old in the NOJHL. His forecheck is one of his greatest assets.”
