What promises to be a busy off-season for the Trenton Golden Hawks has begun.
The OJHL club has acquired goaltender Ethan Fraser from the Lindsay Muskies.
It’s a homecoming for the 19-year-old Fraser who is a Belleville resident and former Quinte Red Devil.
Last season he had a 12-25 record with the Muskies, a 3.29 Goals Against Average and a solid 896 Save Percentage.
Golden Hawks general manager and head coach Jerome Dupont says, “Fraser played in a tough East Division in his first season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. He saw a lot of shots and tough ones at that. I believe this has made him a better goaltender. We are bringing Fraser in to be an even stronger goaltender and we are excited about having him. It is also great to have a Bay of Quinte resident and a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils here. We believe he will be a great fit for both sides.”
