As the provincial election campaign draws to a close with Thursday’s election, one of the main party leaders is making a second stop in Bay of Quinte riding in less than a week.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath will hold an event at the Bermuda Prince Edward County restaurant on Main Street in Bloomfield Tuesday afternoon.
The event is at 2:15.
Horwath held a rally at West Zwick’s Park last Wednesday in support of local candidate Alison Kelly.
In the 2018 provincial election, then NDP candidate Joanne Belanger finished second in Bay of Quinte riding, losing by around 8,000 votes, to the Progressive Conservative’s Todd Smith.
None of the other major party leaders have held events in the Quinte region.
