Quinte Health Care’s Board of Directors have recognized its Diagnostic Imaging department and two of its members for extraordinary efforts through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Diagnostic Imaging is facing very high demand for its services causing backlogs while at the same time dealing with staffing shortages brought on by the pandemic.
Heather Wright, Charge CT Tech was singled out for always having patients’ well-being top of mind and constantly reworking schedules to maximize appointment availability. Wright also received praise for working some nights and weekends to cover for staff who were sick.
And Danielle Sangiuliano, Charge X-ray Tech, was recognized for stepping in as Interim Manager of Diagnostic Imaging while at the same continuing her X-ray Tech duties. She was described as “the epitome of resilience.”
