The City of Belleville may soon give Habitat for Humanity Hastings-Prince Edward another piece of property to provide attainable housing.
At Tuesday’s meeting council will decide on transferring ownership of a vacant former residential property at 633 Sidney Street, at the intersection of Sidney and Tracey streets.
The city bought the property in 2019 for $300,000 and needed part of it for street widening as part of the Sidney/Bell Boulevard reconstruction project.
