UPDATE 1:43 P.M: Belleville Police have reopened the Bay Bridge.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the Norris Whitney Bridge (Bay Bridge) area this afternoon.
Emergency crews are on scene and the bridge between Belleville and Prince Edward County has been closed due to an ongoing investigation.
