Local COVID-19 hospitalizations and active cases are down.
Thursday, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported 26 people in hospital with virus, none of them in intensive care.
On Tuesday there were 34 in hospital and one in ICU.
The Public Health dashboard shows 51 new high-risk cases, about half of what was reported Tuesday.
Active cases have also fallen from 174 to 141 while outbreaks decreased by two to eleven.
No new deaths were reported Thursday by HPE.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit does not report on Thursdays but as of their last report on Wednesday, there were 70 active high-risk cases in Northumberland County.
