Members of the Lennox and Addington OPP have charged one person after he was found behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle.
On May 9, 2022 at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a traffic complaint with information of a vehicle being driven erratically on Highway 33 in Greater Napanee.
Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen.
As a result, L&A County OPP arrested and charged Sardip Singh, 33 years old, of Vaughan, with:
· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
· Three counts of fail to comply with probation order
· Two counts of driving while under suspension
· Fail to properly wear seat belt
The accused is held in custody pending a bail hearing.
