Several Belleville firefighters were presented with provincial and federal medals and bars of recognition at Monday’s meeting of Belleville city council.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk and Fire Chief Monique Belair made the presentations to the following: Mark Shannon, Andy Noyes, Greg Silvester, Joanne Cleary, Cliff Christopher, Don Carter, Mike Bustos, Pete Huffman, Mike MacDonald, Todd Cleary, and Norm Mitts.
Also, during the council meeting, Don Carter was officially sworn in as the city’s Deputy Fire Chief of Emergency Services.
