The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Provincial Candidate Night on Tuesday, May 17 at Heroes Landing Banquet Hall and Conference Centre. It will be an opportunity for residents & business owners in the Bay of Quinte riding to meet with candidates and ask questions on some of the relevant issues.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. and people will get a chance from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to meet with the candidates in the lobby and pick up their election materials. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., there will be a structured question and answer session with audience members able to ask questions directly to the candidates on provincial issues. The moderator for this event will be Paul Martin.
Todd Smith, Ontario PC; Alison Kelly, NDP; Emilie Leneveu, Liberal Party; Erica Charlton, Green Party and Rob Collins, New Blue Party of Ontario have all been invited to participate. These five candidates represent the parties that currently hold at least one seat in the Ontario Legislative Assembly.
