There were 66 building permits issued in the month of April in Belleville.
The value of those permits is $23.5 million, which is $7.3 million more than April 2021.
There was a permit issued for alterations and improvements to be made at St. Joseph Catholic School on Bridge Street East for $17 million.
There have been fewer permits issued so far this year in comparison to last year, 94 in 2021, but the construction value has increased by almost $7 million.
