A large state-of-the-art car wash facility on Belleville’s North Front Street is one step closer to reality.
Monday, the city’s Planning Advisory Committee recommended council approve zoning changes to allow the car wash on vacant land near Northway Restaurant.
The lot would have room for a 30-vehicle lineup to move through the wash and 18 different vacuum stations and spaces.
The vacuums themselves would be almost inaudible and would be located inside a concrete building.
