Council in Quinte West has sold another portion of land in the North Murray Industrial Park.
In a unanimous vote on Monday night, council approved the sale of land for $225,000 to a numbered company which is listed as Mystical Distributing Company UK Limited. Mystical Distributing has had operations in Quinte West for several years.
The number of acres sold was not disclosed but the City of Quinte West will spend approximately $400,000 to provide a 125-metre extension to Huff Avenue and water and sewer services to the property.
That work will be paid for from the proceeds of the sale plus $175,000 from a city reserve fund.
