Another person has died in Hastings Prince Edward as a result of COVID.
The Public Health Unit is now reporting 54 deaths since the pandemic began.
There are 93 new active high-risk cases, bringing the total number of active cases in the two counties to 468, which is down from the 528 reported Wednesday.
The number of active outbreaks has dropped as well to 14.
The number of people in hospital has increased significantly though. There are 31 people in hospital, up from 23 and there are four people in the Intensive Care Unit.
When it comes to vaccinations, the numbers are holding steady. Eighty-nine per cent of those five and older in Hastings Prince Edward who are eligible for a vaccine have had their first shot, and 83% are fully vaccinated.
Just over half the population has received a third dose booster.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported 32 new cases in Northumberland on Friday.
There are 84 active cases in that county.
