Prince Edward County OPP are investigating reports that several young people shared intimate photos of a young person.
The Prince Edward County Crime Unit is aiding the investigation which began April 20.
Investigators believe the photos may have been shared with other individuals and are asking anyone with information to contact Prince Edward County OPP.
The OPP says sharing intimate photos of someone underage is illegal and is considered child pornography.
Police are asking parents, guardians and other caregivers to be aware and have conversations regarding their children’s online activities.
