Mayor Mitch Panciuk joined Belleville Fire and Transit staff at Fire Station #1 Thursday morning for the official unveiling of the new Camp Molly bus wrap.
The Belleville Transit bus will promote the program which will be delivered by Belleville and Quinte West Fire departments this July, giving a chance for 35 girls between the ages of 15 and 18 to learn what it’s like to have a career in fire services.
Belleville Fire Chief Monique Belair began the program in Halton region a few years ago and is excited to see it expand to the Quinte region this year.
Registration will remain open until the end of May.
