One person is facing drug charges and another weapons-related charges following a Project Renewal drug investigation Wednesday in Belleville.
Belleville police say officers executed two search warrants within the city and conducted a motor vehicle stop on North Front Street.
Just over 16 grams of fentanyl and $200 cash were seized and two people were arrested.
Forty-year-old Jamie Lee Bowers of Belleville is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
Facing numerous possession of ammunition charges is 40-year-old Omar Williams of London.
Both were held for bail hearings.
Williams is also wanted in London on serious criminal charges and will be returned to that jurisdiction.
