Warrant
Belleville police responded to a report of a person entering an abandoned building on Church Street just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Police entered the building and located David Robertson, a 50-year-old male with no fixed address. A record check indicated that he was wanted by Belleville police for weapons dangerous, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, mischief under $5,000, two counts of assault, and failing to attend court and fingerprints. He was held for a bail hearing today.
Theft
On April 26, 2022 around 11:35 a.m., a crossing guard observed a male wearing a purple Toronto Raptors shirt and hat, light brown jacket, and blue jeans entering the grounds of a school on Church Street. The male removed a wrench from his person and broke the lock off a bike rack. The male then rode off on the bike. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is continuing.
