Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region, predicting that as much as 40mm of rain could fall in some areas.
Thunderstorms are also possible.
There could be some localized flooding.

- Belleville – Quinte West – Eastern Northumberland County
- Cobourg – Colborne – Western Northumberland County
Heavy rainfall possible today through tonight.
Hazards:
Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm may lead to localized flooding in low-lying areas.
Timing:
This afternoon through tonight.
Discussion:
Total rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm will be possible before rain tapers off early Tuesday morning. Locally higher amounts are possible for areas that receive thunderstorms however any thunderstorms are expected to be isolated.
