In Tweed, OPP have charged a man with assaulting a child.
Late Thursday morning, Central Hastings OPP responded to a report of an assault involving an adult male and female youth with investigation determining the level of force escalated beyond an acceptable level of parental discipline
A 31-year-old man is charged with assault and uttering threats.
Police are not releasing the name of the accused in order to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused was released on an undertaking and will appear in court June 2.
