Belleville police responded to 52 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on April 21, 2022 to 5 a.m. on April 22, 2022.
Belleville Police are warning the public about online scams. Officers spoke to a woman Thursday evening who said she invested approximately $50,000 with an unknown investment agency over the internet through purchasing Apple ID cards.
Their investigation is ongoing.
BPS would like to remind everyone these frauds are very common and to be very cautious sending anything to anyone over the internet or phone.
