The COVID-19 outbreak at H.J. McFarland Memorial Home in Prince Edward County is over.
A statement from the Home indicates the Hastings Prince Edward Public Heath made the declaration.
The H.J. McFarland Home issued the following release:
“I want to thank the staff, residents and visitors for their patience, adherence and compliance over the past two weeks. Everyone’s hard work contributed to limiting the spread of the infection,” says Kyle Cotton, Executive Director, H.J. McFarland Memorial Home.
Enhanced COVID-19 screening and testing procedures will continue at H.J. McFarland Memorial Home to ensure the health and safety of all residents and staff. Restrictions on visitations that were put in place during the outbreak have been lifted. Visitations will follow the guidelines that were in place before the outbreak.
