The search for a missing Piper Comanche, not seen since last week, is continuing in northern Ontario with some additional help.
The plane, with two people on board, has been missing in the Wawa area, north of Sault Ste. Marie, since April 14.
Two helicopters and a Hercules aircraft from 8 Wing Trenton’s 424 Squadron have been searching for the missing plane.
Tuesday the Trenton Joint Rescue Coordination Centre reported a CP140 Aurora Long Range Patrol, equipped with advanced sensors and cameras, was joining the search.
An Air Task Force has also been established at the Sault Ste. Marie aiprort.
