Belleville police responded to 67 calls for service over a 24-hour period fromat 5 a.m. on April 13, 2022 to 5 a.m. April 14, 2022.
Uttering death threats
Belleville police were called to the east end of the city on Wednesday morning just before 10 o’clock for the report of a disturbance. Officers were advised a 20-year-old Belleville resident had threatened to kill a group of people in a home. The man was currently on a probation order and a peace bond to keep the peace. Officers arrested him and charged him with uttering threats, breach of probation and breach of a peace bond. He was held for a show cause hearing today (Thursday).
