One person was charged following a drug trafficking investigation in Trenton.
Late Wednesday morning, Quinte West OPP and the Community Street Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop on Byron Street after a male passenger was observed conducting what appeared to be drug transactions.
The accused was arrested and following a search a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine, approximately $2000 cash and items related to drug trafficking were seized.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jordan Frivalt is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000, and five counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing in Belleville on Thursday.
