A local couple is working to bring a Ukrainian family fleeing the Russian invasion of their country to Belleville.
Trish and Mark Hall, of Hall Realty, have received some support finding and funding an apartment for a family of five but more help is needed.
The Kupyniak family consists of mother and father and three children ranging in age from 10 months to 14 years old.
They are now living without any possessions in one room at a family friend’s home at the border with Poland and are expected in Canada within the next couple of weeks.
The Halls have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for clothing, baby supplies, and other basics of life.
