April Fool’s Day turned out to be anything but a joke for a driver and passenger in Belleville.
City police spotted a vehicle being driven by a known suspended driver and pulled it over.
After a search the driver and passenger were found to be in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine along with drug trafficking items.
A prohibited weapon was also seized.
Facing charges are the driver, 35-year-old Pamela Barnes of Belleville and passenger 38-year-old Starsky Hughey of Roslin.
