A traffic stop in Prince Edward County resulted in the seizure of cocaine and heroin.
OPP officers conducted a traffic stop early on the morning of March 25 on County Road 22 in Hallowell Ward and noticed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested.
In addition to the cocaine and heroin, two cell phones and assorted drug paraphernalia were also seized.
37-year-old Christopher Bronson and 32-year-old Brittany Mussgnug, both from Prince Edward County, each face several charges:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking- heroine
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
- Possession of a credit card
- Possession of an identity document
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Both parties were released on undertakings with court appearances scheduled for April 27 in Picton.
