Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reports 20 people with COVID-19 are currently in hospital.
The Public Health dashboard shows two are in the intensive care unit.
The numbers are similar to Friday’s report when there were 18 in hospital and three in the ICU.
There were 158 new high-risk cases Monday.
That has driven the active case count up to 340, an increase of 41 over Friday’s number.
Ten outbreaks in high-risk settings remain ongoing.
Vaccination numbers are unchanged with 83% of HPE residents aged five and up having received two doses of a COVID vaccine while booster shots have been administered to 89,396 people.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported 39 new high-risk cases today in Northumberland County.
There are now 66 active cases there.
